  1. Kia ora Brooke, this is Kieryn from the Summer Learning Journey.
Well done for participating in the Summer Learning Journey and creating this blog post about 10 food items you would take with you if you were going on a sea voyage with no refrigerator or freezer!
I really like how you have thought about the aspect of no fridge or freezer.
Canned foods, cereal and bars are all excellent choices as they are non-perishable items and will therefore last a long time.
It is awesome to see some fruit and vegetables on you list! You definitely wouldn’t want to get scurvy while you were away at sea, so the vitamins and minerals in these would help avoid this!
Crackers and chips are also great additions to your list as it is always nice to have something to snack on!
What is your favourite flavour of crackers/chips?
Out of all of the different foods on your list, which one is your favourite?
From looking at this list of food you have made, some meals I could imagine making include cereal with fruit, salad burgers, and even beans on toast!
What kind of meals would you make out of these ingredients?
If I were going on this sea voyage, I would pack peanut butter. This is because I eat peanut butter every morning, and don’t think I could go a day without it! Plus, peanut butter is full of good, healthy fats and lasts a while before expiring.
    Keep up the excellent work!
    Nga mihi

    1. Hi, thank you for the feedback, my favourite flavour of chips is definitely salt and vinegar, my favourite food on my list is probably the lollies, I love lollies! The meals I would make are probably the same as you beans on toast, burgers and cereal and fruit. Thanks again for the feedback!

  2. Hello Brooke It is Lily-Piper here and this comment is for a task.
I love this work and how you used a lot of color backgrounds and description.
This reminded me of my SLJ activities.
Next time you could add a slide at the end to wrap it all up.
Overall you did a great job.
