Fabulous Brooke, She was definitely a pretty amazing woman who set the path for all coloured people way back in the late 1800's. I wonder if next time you could give us your opinion on her and how her journey made you feel. Perhaps you could have also mentioned that her name became quite famous and many people who do certain things are now called 'sojourners' I wonder why that is?
ReplyDeleteKia ora Brooke
ReplyDeleteSojourner Truth was an incredibly brave and influential woman for her time. She is so interesting to read about. Did you find her inspiring when searching for facts? It would be great to include your source and maybe a photo of your subject. Great job.
Hi Brooke,
ReplyDeleteYou have included a lot of great information. She is incredible. Did she do anything for human rights after she escaped from slavery. Next time you could maybe include a photo of her.
